Nantwich in Cheshire is a charming riverside market town with a rich history, a wealth of beautiful timber-framed buildings, a wide range of speciality shops, a local museum and one of the finest medieval churches in Britain.
The food festival is one of the top food and drink events in the country. It is primarily a showcase for all that is best in Cheshire produce, but the county's central position means food and drink from Wales, the Marches and North West England are all well represented, with a huge variety of food and drink on offer.
Britain's Tastiest Food Festival takes place annually on the last weekend of September and this year runs from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 September.
