Brian has recently been invited to be one of the judges of The Northern Cook Off, the already famous competition in the North-West.
The Chef-Mentors are no less famous: Simon Rimmer, Andrew Nutter, Dave Gale.

From tasty cheeses, cakes and confectionary to delicious preserves, pickles and puddings, this two day foodie frenzy boasts tastings galore, super-chef demonstrations and heaps of family fun all wrapped in the most magical festive package.
Not forgetting the children, there will be a magical children's village with an enchanting Father Christmas experience complete with real reindeer!

 Cockermouth Food Fest 2010 (293)
A weekend of mouth watering menus are hotly anticipated at the first ever Taste Cumbria Food Festival which takes place in Cockermouth this September (25th-26th).
The brand new weekend event will be a celebration of Cumbria's excellent food and drink offering and will focus on the bustling market town, which is renowned as the birthplace and childhood home of the Great English poet, William Wordsworth.

It is one of the top food and drink events in the country. It is primarily a showcase for all that is best in Cheshire produce, but the county's central position means food and drink from Wales, the Marches and North West England are all well represented, with a huge variety of food and drink on offer.
